What We Believe

  1. We believe that there is one God; eternally existent in three persons; God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.(Ephesians 4:5-6, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17)
  2. We believe that all scripture is given by the inspiration of God. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21)
  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.(Ephesians 4:5-6, John 10:30, Hebrews 1:1-5)
  4. He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35)
  5. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35)
  6. He died (John 19:30-35)
  7. He rose again from the dead bodily (John 20:25-29, Luke 24:36-40)
  8. He ascended into heaven bodily (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Matthew 24:29-30)
  9. We believe that the only way one can be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Acts 3:19, Luke 24:27, Ephesians 1:7)
  10. We believe that healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer. (Acts 3:16, Act 9:32-35, I Peter 2:24)
  11. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:1-4)
  12. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a Holy life. (Romans 15:16, I Corinthians 6:11)
  13. We believe that salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men. (Acts 4:12)
  14. We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust; the just to everlasting life and the unjust to everlasting damnation. (Acts 24:15, John 5:29)
  15. We believe in the rapture of the Church and the second coming of Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Matthew 24:29-30)
  16. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus and observance of the Lord’s Supper. (Act 2:38, I Corinthians 11:23-26)
